Registered Nurse - Day Shift - New York, NY (Onsite) - Contract - Day Shift Mon-Fri 07:00am-03:30pm and Every Other Weekend - $41.65 - $59.50 Hr

Description

  • We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a contract position in New York, NY.
  • This role involves working day shifts from Monday to Friday, with alternating weekends.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in both long-term and short-term patient care and will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring effective communication between departments.

Requirements

  • Provide direct patient/resident care as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records.
  • Initiate and maintain effective interdepartmental communication.
  • Maintain an appropriate and safe environment.

Qualifications

  • BSN preferred.
  • Valid NYS Professional Registered Nurse License.
  • At least 6 months of nursing home experience.
  • Experience with NYS DOH and Joint Commission standards.
  • Knowledge of MDS and PRI processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills and computer proficiency.
