Location: Kane, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Full-Time, Night Shift

Position Overview

Under the direction of the RN Supervisor, the LPN Wing Supervisor oversees resident care and supervises Nursing Assistants (NAs) to ensure high-quality care. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with residents and engaging with them daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitoring; document resident responses.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders; update care plans regularly.
• Supervise NAs and ensure resident care aligns with care plans and regulations.
• Notify RN Supervisor of significant changes in resident condition.
• Assist with physician rounds, lab collections, and post-mortem procedures.
• Monitor resident vitals, weights, and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment; oversee inventory and treatment areas.
• Assist with staff orientation, evaluations, and team meetings.
• Provide direct care as needed and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania LPN license (or temporary permit at interview).
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, medical asepsis, body mechanics, and resident care.
• Nursing home experience preferred; COVID vaccination recommended but not required.
• Strong supervisory, communication, and observational skills.
